The Harewood Hockey Club, Haupoi o Tawera, is one of New Zealand’s largest and most inclusive hockey communities, proudly catering to players of all ages and abilities. From first-time players to seasoned athletes, Harewood provides a supportive environment for everyone to develop their skills, enjoy the game, and build lasting connections. The club is also home to a highly regarded junior development programme and has produced many current and former Canterbury representatives and New Zealand international players.

Based in Christchurch, Harewood is a proud member of the Canterbury Hockey Association (CHA), with its home grounds at Nunweek Park, featuring three artificial turfs managed by the CHA. The club’s commitment to excellence has been recognized with numerous accolades, including the CHA Club of the Year award in 2013 and Hockey New Zealand’s Club of the Year award in 2018.
